Janet’s first book is based on this course –
‘The Art of Illusion’ - now called Janet Shearer’s Trompe L’Oeil Painting Course (published by New Holland UK – North Light in US)

This is an intensive, imaginative and fun introduction to the whole task of painting a mural – to include sourcing a suitable idea from reference material supplied in the studio , design, perspective, scale drawing and painting your own mini-mural with Janet’s help. Murals are painted on MDF Board approximately 1/4 of the size of a normal wall .
The aim of this practical class is to give you the confidence to do a mural on your own. It is suitable for all degrees of experience, including beginners, because numbers in the group are very small and Janet will teach each person at their own level.

Winter Workshops: (October 2006/March 2007 - excluding painting course weeks) Any three 3 days £150.00 to include B&B at farm, minimum two hours tuition per day from Janet. Use of studio and all facilities all day.
